Meet the Senior Social Workers of the Wilkins Center

Michelle Adelman

Michelle Adelman is a Licensed Psychotherapist with expertise in working with adults, adolescents, and children with eating disorders, sexual trauma, substance abuse, and dissociative identity disorders.  Ms. Adelman’s therapeutic style is family systems oriented and object-relations based.  This provides her with an opportunity to address individual, couple, and family needs with a proactive hands-on approach, while exploring the intergenerational themes and issues that impact an individual’s functioning, experiences, and life satisfaction.

Ms. Adelman earned her Master of Science (MS Ed) in Counseling Psychology Degree from the University of Miami.  She is a member of the National Eating Disorders Association.
