Meet the Senior Social Workers of the Wilkins Center
Sarita Broden, MA, MSW
Sarita Broden has been a Social Worker at the Wilkins Center since it opened over 25 years ago. She specializes in treating adolescents and young adults in individual or group settings. She is a therapist, supervisor and community educator.
Ms. Broden earned her Bachelors of Art Degree from the Teacher’s College at the University of Mexico and her Masters of Education Degree from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel. She received her Masters of Social Work Degree from Adelphi University.
Ms. Broden is member of the National Eating Disorders Association and served on the board of the American Anorexia and Bulimia Association.
Ms. Broden is a contributing author to the book Eating Disorders: Road to Recovery. Born and raised in Mexico City, she is fluent in English, Spanish, and French, and proficient in Hebrew, Russian and Italian.
