Eating disorders can have severe medical consequences and can damage every organ system—they can even cause death. We are pleased to offer you an array of medical services, from blood tests and electrocardiogram testing for your heart to medication monitoring, all at one convenient location.
At the Wilkins Center, our doctors specialize in offering a continuum of care that includes the medical needs of people with eating disorders and weight control issues. We will assess your overall health and check for conditions related to eating disorders, including diabetes, high cholesterol, and low or high blood pressure. We collaborate with your primary care physician. Because we pay close attention to your health, we may be able to help you avoid hospitalization. If you do require hospitalization, we can provide your post-hospital care.
