Dialectical Behavior Therapy
Dialectical Behavior Therapy is used to help people learn and integrate positive coping skills for daily life and to reduce emotional escalations that they may experience during conflict. A goal of Dialectic Behavior Therapy is to help a person manage or cope with life to help improve their quality of life. This type of therapy is useful for people that have problems associated with a difficult upbringing or home environment that invalidated their feelings.
